    Odd question on body language

My boyfriend isn't much of a hand holder or foot fondler, or anything of that sort. I inquire this: What on earth does it mean when my boyfriend runs his fingertips over the sharp of my nails. I have natural nails. I don't paint them. I don't file them. He loves running his fingers over them even pushing on them backwards and foward while we're watching television. Is it a sign of affection? (I don't want to ask him, because then he'll stop doing it)

That's...peculiar, but any touching from your partner is better than nothing at all. I wouldn't read much into it...or maybe it's a secret fetish and he likes having fingernails digging into him while you're doing more than just 'cuddling'.

Yeah its a sign of affection. Me and an ex used to do it all the time while watching tele... except its basically holding hands... one hand is over the other and you play fingersies (like footsies I guess).

Holding hands sucks because sweat becomes an issue and it makes everyone uncomfortable.

Yes, take it as a compliment. He enjoys touching you and that is a good thing. Too many couples worry themselves about when they're gonna run out of conversation topics. No one has the stamina to stare deep into your eyes and spout sweet nothings ALL THE TIME. So another way to show affection is through physical touching. I actually prefer that point in the relationship. You don't have to say anything, or do anything.

I didn't think of that. He never struck me as the type who likes those kind of things, but then again he never likes to talk about fetishes. I'll try that thank you.

Your claws are floppy. You should get some nail hardener, if they're so bendable.

I literally cringed when I read that - pushing them forwards and backwards - eek.

It probably is a sign of affection. My ex used to rub on my knuckles all the time.

any type of hand holding, stroking, grooming is a sign of affection. It's not exclusive to humans either, almost all animals do it

My claws are indeed bendy. I should get some nail hardener, in fact I wanted to get some french acryllic nails for a while, but I can't because I have a physical job.

Nobody wants lame, bendy claws running down their back during missionary. You need them to be tougher if they're going to sink in a little.

    "Foot fondler"........

Well, different folks, different strokes I guess?

I imagine he just likes the feel of them. I have a strange obsession with buttons on duvets, where I rub each one until it's warm and then move on to the next one. I've been doing it for as long as I remember and I have no idea why, beyond that I like the feel of it.
