    My introducation :)

I needed some advice on life (guess in what area ;D), and stumbled on this forum. I really like it and it seems like a fun place, so here I am.

Name's Ashley, I live in MO, USA, and I turn 20 this July. I'm more the inside type; I play piano, I'm working on a book, I love reading, and I love a very special show called Supernatural.

    But anyway, yeah. Hi!

Mostly general/fantasy fiction. Stuff like Phantom, Harry Potter, Jodi Picoult, Hunger Games, Battle Royale, Pendragon, Kite Runner, Time Traveler's Wife, etc.

Hello and welcome. That's great that you're writing a book. I've always tried, but I never had the discipline to sit down and get passed a few chapters. What kind of book are you writing?

hrmm... i'm also into the fantasy fiction, however, i need much more blood and violence in mines. if you're into that, i suggest "the night angel" trilogy. lots of murders, blood and violence, yet i couldn't stop reading it. it's by brent weeks.

Hum, it's a series of books that all take place in the world I created, but in different periods of its history with some reoccurring characters. First book involves a small colony of survivors from Book #2 (;P) that secretly experiment on unborn children to achieve flight. Rough synopsis, anyway.

Oh, thanks. I'll be sure to check that out!

I just now realize I butchered the thread title. What the hell is introducation?

EDIT: Just looked up the trilogy, and it reminds me of Assassin's Creed (for obvious reasons xD) which I am currently playing. Definitely be checking them out, then!

Wow, sounds very fascinating and very original. I wish you luck on your book, I look forward to reading it someday.

personally i never cared for assassins creed. the story does sound interesting, yet the pace of the game is very slow and repetitive. however, the books that i recommended kinda run along the same story line, but it has a lot more gore and violence.

Aw, thanks! Though I will say, nothing is original. I'm sure if I look hard enough -which I don't feel like doing- I will find a plot like mine. It's all about how the author tells it that makes it original.

It can get repetitive if you do all the missions to get information about your target. I skip the Collect The Flags one (no trophies, BAH!) but I do enjoy saving the citizens. :p Anyway, as usual, I found a good deal for those books on Amazon (all three for $16) so I'll be buying that collection and Stardust today. I thank you on mentioning those!

Heh, what an interesting combination, a musician, a gamer, and an author. I think I may have met my female doppleganger.
