It's not a rational response. It's instinctive. Men don't want a girlfriend whose had 100s of dicks through her before you - it just turns you off completely. There's no rational though process behind it, but there it is.

I'm there with you. Either way, someone who has slept with a load of men at 21 just sounds like she is not serious about a relationship. The only time when it's okay to confess your sexual statistics is when you don't give a F*** about the other person because its bound to be a simple fling. I've also noticed there seems to be a higher than normal rate of infidelity. I work closely with two girls/women about my age, 27. Both are married and have been for some years. Both have cheated on their husbands. One does it regularly. She was initially grooming me for some sort of affair. She told me when I started that her and her husband are separated but live under the same roof. I later discovered this was a complete lie. Then she tried to have a threesome with me at the office christmas party (seriously). This girl is a complete viper as a lawyer. You owe her client even a modest amount of money, she will bankrupt you five times before you hit the ground.
