Does he have feelings for me?

I have been seeing a man who responded to my ad on craigslist the first week in January. He calls me every night, sends me e-mails 3 to 5 times per week, and we get together alone once a week and do something with a group once a week. We both work alot of hours, so that's the most we can do for now.

In the craigslist ad that he responded to, I said that I wasn't looking for a LTR or anything with strings attached, but I wasn't counting on meeting such a great guy at the time.

His birthday was last week. I'm an artist, and I gave him a piece of my artwork that I created especially for him. In the birthday card, I wrote that he was very special to me and that my life is so much better because he is a part of it. That's the closest that I've come to telling him that I have feelings for him.

So, here's my delimna. We have never talked about our feelings for each other. From everything that I hear, the man can be scared off if the woman is the first to bring up the subject. I do have feelings for him, and would like to know how he feels about me.

Any suggestions?

I think you both need to talk to each other and find out what each others expectations are. If this guy is mature enough he should be able to handle what you tell him.

craisglist is not generally the place to meet the love of your life. I wouldn't hold your hopes up too high.

From your post nothing you said indicates he wants more than he's already getting. (I assume you posted for no strings sex) then you fell for him? What was his reaction to your cards? Do you chat about love, life and family?
