Um... like she enjoys the smell? Likes licking armpits? Stroking the hair? So, does she just drop to her knees the moment your arms go up?

I didn't sleep very well last night and have a horrible headache because of it.

I'm really disappointed in my aunts and cousins how they are acting over my grandma's possessions. Just sickening how greedy people are. Seriously, they are burning bridges over objects. My grandma would roll over in her grave if she were even buried yet. Her internment is in a few weeks. Several of my family members aren't on speaking terms. Unfreakinbelievable.

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
    blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
    A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
    Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
    Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

She doesn't usually go so far as to lick them, but yes, all of the above.

Im annoyed that its my birthday tomorrow and my mum forgot. I spoke to her today and made a comment about it and she didnt even try and pretend she had remembered. Its worse than a couple of years ago when she bought me a card with the wrong age on it. Great way to make your daughter feel loved.

This is gonna be a shit birthday, i know it.

My mom does this, and has since I was a teenager. She even forgets MY birthday, but remembers my son's, who was born on the same day as me. Some years, she will remember my daughter, but not my son, and vice-versa. She doesn't remember anyone in the family's birthday consistently except her own, when she routinely asks for expensive gifts. This year she asked us to pay for a face lift. lol

If you want to feel better about it, you will have to change your expectations. My mom is a narcissist. She never thinks of anyone but herself. You can't expect someone like that to behave like a healthy person. Now that my siblings and I have grown up, we laugh at her craziness. It's become the family joke, and even my kids are in on it.

Crazy people can be counted on to behave in crazy ways.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Well she has just really pissed me off, I phoned her to talk about something else, and she still never even wished me happy birthday. She also made a big deal over looking after my son as agreed this afternoon while I have to do something... she knows it was important, yet she cant even have him for a few hours as she 'has people coming over'. Thanks alot.

My cousin (she's 33 years old) keeps posting these quotes about liars, thieves, and greed on her FB as digs at my sister. ****ing embarassing. I'm ready to chuck the deuce.

My dog woke me up because squirrels kept walking on the roof at 5am. In addition, he has just learned to jump our 8' fence in the back yard in pursuit of squirrels.

Ok so i went to see her after work, we had a few words straight away when she lit up a cigarette in the same room as my son, she 'forgot' i quickly reminded her!.
She didnt mention my birthday at all, then when i was leaving tried to give me some money as a 'present' I told her i didnt want nor need the money, she tried to insist saying it was a present, so i told her it wasnt a present, a present would have been something small, a gesture to just show she had put some thought into it. She really couldnt understand what i meant.
Oh well, I feel bad now, I didnt mean to be ungrateful to her.

My mom called to wish me happy 22nd birthday last year and I had completely forgotten my own birthday. It's not nearly as important or exciting as it is pre-21.

complete an utter cunt of a day. Sort of day that makes you want to throw in the towel. Not one event remotely pleasant happening. All shit.
Is it burnin'? Well, f-ck, now you're learnin'.

Started the day off with an argument with my bf. Yay! GREAT way to start the day.

Also before going to bed last night got an email from paypal refunding our comedy tickets. The venue is going out of business so they had to cancel the show.

What a kick to the box.

So, turns out that I had checked out the exhibition date incorrectly (begun on 15th of July, not the 15th of June =_=), so took the girl I was attending it with for a walkabout around the other exhibitions going on, but ****, I frankly couldn't care less about them, I'd much rather just tell her to stuff this, grab some hot coco and chat for an hour or two instead of just walking about, but she's taken and that'd count as a move, and I won't make a move on someone who's in a relationship.
He's leaving in six months, so it'll probably end, but she also mentioned in passing something random about an ex-ex boyfriend, which at the age of 21 makes me wonder if she's only doing casual relationships, in which case I'd count it out anyways.

Ah, stuff it, I've invited her to do stuff a fair few times, break contact for the holiday trips and see what happens when returning back, if she doesn't show any interest I'll just say stuff it and keep it all platonic from then on.

And now I'll sleep for 3-4 hours before waking myself up to finish packing, which isn't easy since I just had about 6 beers with some mates. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.
