I like them both too but it seems brazil has an easier path to the finals and their coach really means business ...

It really sucked when both Japan and Korea crashed out. But i'm happy that their games were always entertaining. Not like some more fancied countries

Even though there were some entertaining games, the refs are making the game and its fans suffer. So many bad calls (esp England vs Germany and Mexico vs Argentina)..there were others too. I really hope they bring in video review so it's more fair.

I want Spain and Germany to do well. Maradona, even though i like his team i can't stand that guy. Brazil is the strongest team but they haven't been truly tested yet so it'll be interesting against Netherlands.

So true ... i think FIFA is too commercially oriented under Blatter and I wont be surprised if they receive funding from the book makers !! Soon they will become like WWF where nothing is real ! I read somewhere the bookmakers are relieved that England is out because they face a HUGE payout should England win the cup.

What pisses me even more is that he rejected the video review idea by saying it slows down the game and the game is better with errors. Wtf? One of the proposals was to take someone just like in hockey games (where they see the replay above) and because most refs have the wireless headset anyways, just tell them if it's in or not...it takes less than 30 seconds to do that.

I think his reasons are lame. He has apparently come out and apologized for the ref's mistakes and promised to re-look at video technology AFTER this world cup.

Looks like the bad PR may be making him change his mind. But i still think everything is $$ for him. Fair play is nothing to him.

for similar reasons, i like watching ladies tennis and beach volleyball ... but they really need to learn from the men about ripping off their jerseys at the end !!
