What Annoyed you today

Broke a wine glass on top of a customer tonight. Winner right here! They were very nice about it after the fact (and after my boss gave them their bottle of wine on the house). They did order another though.

I guess I was mostly annoyed by the fact that my typically very functional brain shut down during the 10 minutes after the accident, and I had to go outside to cool off. I was mortified.

But I manned up, went back to the lounge, and finished my shift.

Me and my bf are having sore throats. My bf went to the pharmacy and got some meds. He gives me Ibuprofenum and said "the guy at pharmacy said to eat it 3 times a day" I said "but it's a simple pill like 1000 other that we have and it's a pain killer" ... He said but the pharma guy said to take it... And then he gives me other pills and said he got this too. I read the package and see it's antibiotic. I tell him that and he said"but the pharma guy said it's not antibiotic" . I mean like how its not an antibiotic if IT IS antibiotic. And i already was screwed few years by people who gave me antibiotics without running any tests and say "just take it". I hate those people!!! I was sick every 2 weeks because of stupid antibiotics and my bf ****ing knows how i hate them and would at best avoid them totally and yet he pisses me off like this !!

Sore throats are usually caused by a cold, and colds are not treated with antibiotics.

Do they really hand out antibiotics in Europe with seeing a doctor?

Went out to get the mail this morning and found a shopping cart in the front yard. Probably some of my neighbor's kids screwing around. I'd take it back, but I can't identify which store it came from. Came back from my road trip earlier this week to find a city-issued garbage can on my driveway. It isn't mine, it doesn't belong to any of my neighbors, and the city is taking their sweet time coming to get it. When did my yard become the city dump?

In Spain you can buy a lot of drugs that in other European countries are possible to buy just with prescription from a dr. But they do give antibiotics for everything, doctors and pharmacists, at least most of them. That's why I had problems for few years, till finally I have found the right doctor, he gave me the right medicine and my few years long cystitis was gone, you don't even know how happy i am to be healthy. now since then and that is since last november i take no antibiotics - and i'm healthy as well. I must have gotten this sore throat from my bf ,cause he was sick since few days. Anyway i don't trust doctors and pharmacists anymore...

How did that happen?

The bottle tipped and fell onto the glass. I didn't catch it in time. Then everything happened fast after that. Luckily, my boss wasn't far away and swooped in.

Everyone thought I'd broken the bottle. When they figured out it was just a glass, they all went, "Oh." and shrugged.

My neighbours son is currently trying to break into his own house after being thrown out. I wish he would do it quietly.

I seriously need some sleep. I've been cranky as hell all weekend thanks to my jacked up sleep patterns. Although, I stayed awake one night this weekend for very good reasons. But now it's time for sleep.
