Speaking of food, if you're still looking for a way to annoy your neighbors with food, I remembered shrimp paste is a good option. My bro once cooked that in the school kitchen where he worked and the head teacher actually had to turn on the fan to blow the smell away from his class 'cause it made him feel nauseous hahahaha...

fish paste?? haha that IS a good one. i remember in thai cooking, they use a fish sauce that is actually fermented fish parts... and this is something that i can leave on my grill and walk away from.

yea this place is pretty cool. I went to one other place for advice before I knew about this one and it wasnt pretty...This place is a real gem the people are so supportive!
