How to tell when its a date?

Quick question for the ladies from a guy, how am I supposed to tell when a girl is asking me out on a "date" (you know, the one with the 'date' label with all the rules and guidelines and expectations), and when they're just asking me out as a friend for company?

Death is like sex in highschool, because if you knew how many times you missed it, you'd be paralyzed.

LoL.. I'm not a girl but I say just ask. "So.. is this one of those hott dates where we go home and have crazy wild sex or is this just friend-to-friend?"

if you need to, you can say "Listen I just need to know because all these chicks are wantin' to go out w/ me and I don't want to cheat just because of my sexyness"

Whenever you aren't sure if it's a "friend" date or a "possible relationship style date", it's the friend date.

When a chick digs you, you know she doesn't have a boyfriend, and you aren't coming over to do her taxes, its the relationship one.

i figured don't guess because then you'll never be 100% sure.
