I'm on his lease?

My ex boyfriend of 5 years and I broke up almost 2 months ago. Tried to get him back because I think the break up is stupid and we should be grown ups and work on everything together but he thinks we should try being just friends and see how life goes. He also said the spark is gone and just loves me as a person not in love with me anymore. So after our lease was up in a house with 2 other roommates, he got his own little place that we were thinking about getting when we were together as a couple but that did not work out. But now he tells me he put me on the lease anyways. Ive seen the papers and Im set as the second person who lives with him. Hes NOT the kind of person who will leave me as the one who takes care of the bills. He pays all his bills on his own. He really is a good guy. But what does this mean????? Is he keeping me on the lease just incase he wants me back? Or what....
