How do you find a Dentist?

So it's about time I get my teeth cleaned and all that fun crap that I loathe so very, very much.

I've moved recently and I need a new dentist. How do you find a decent one? I've puttered around online, but I can't find any websites I feel are objective enough. I don't really have anyone in the area who I trust to give me a good recommendation, either.

Know any good websites to track them down? What do you look for in a dentist?

I don't either. I check my bank account and think of all the really cool things I can buy or do. And then I realize all that money has to go to bills, rent, food and doctors.

I'm pretty much in the same boat.

I think I have a herniated disc, but since I'm pretty sure that's what it is, I don't want to pay 35 dollars, to a doctor who is going to refer me to a specialist for 50 dollars to tell me I have a herniated disc.

I've been coddling it, and it's actually been getting better.

My teeth on the other hand, have not seen the hands of a professional in over 4 years.
