Exactly, nothing... just a black strip onthe terrain. Can you answer this though... why is there a black strip on that part?

Nerdy_guy, I think it's just an editing mistake. If you use Google Maps a lot, you'll notice all kinds of errors, like airplanes cut in half, highways with dead ends, etc. Google Maps doesn't really use censorship unless it's requested. Google Earth (not google maps) has semi-covered it with overlapping patches of imagery, and pre-2010 photos just show another part of the snowy mountain range, so meh, nada, just shit stitching.
