I'm just curious...
My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 months. He will say "I love you" to me and sometimes when I respond "I love you too" he will say "I know you do." or "I know you love me" I'm just curious if there's any reason why he says "I know you do" when he is the one who initially says "I love you" ? I know that he's aware that I love him, but I don't say "I love you" all the time, actually I think he says it more than I do. Is it like he says "I know" because it's like a sense of reassurance to him of how I feel?
Also, sometimes he will say to me "I really like you a lot", I am always curious as to why for the most part he will say "I love you" and then sometimes say "I really like you a lot" instead. He will say that first, for example, though. So it's not like if I said to him I loved him he'd reply with that. And I don't think he's confused about how he feels about me because he tells me all the time that he's always happy to see me, be with me, spend time with me, etc.
Thoughts?
