of course they are overcharging. but we are also overpaying our staff. i know a nurse from Germany who made at least 5 times less back there then she does here. explain that please.

I think Vashi knows more about this, but here in the US Nurses have specialized degrees and certifications. A nurse I believe makes about $55,000 - 75,000... but you have to remember, many of them work 12 hour shifts, all different hours, and have student loans as well. If you ask me, they get paid adequately and should NOT be paid less. They are a health care professional. How much do they get paid in Germany? And if they charge that little for surgery, how are they paying them at all?

Ummm... I think old people should get treated. IN FACT, here in the united states, there is Medicare. All old people over 65 get covered because they've pretty much worked to get us where we are and deserve it. In case you didn't know.

Let's take a woman,from west Germany,with 15 years of experience (let's say she's around 40yo).And let's say she's doing 40hours a week. She's earning around 2500euro/month (30.000euro/year). It's a lot. On top of it there are christmas money,holidays money and yearly uses and gratification. Nurses in Germany are in pretty good position. Don't forget that life is pretty cheap here. And hey, we already have xx xxx $ less to pay for simple medical care

Somehow other countries get to support immigrants with medical help without complaining...

We have hospitals that go bankrupt here because of people, many of them immigrants, that come to our hospitals and never pay their bills.

It was just example and mind that Poland REALLY have no money . But I think Europe cound compete with USA. We have LOTS of immigrants from allover the world.

but we also have a lot of free clinics all over the place and female clinics as well

I'm not defending a bad one. Just because it doesn't work for a few doesn't mean it's not the best option. I don't like your system but if it works for your country that I'm not going to call it a bad option. You really should research a bit about our country before judging it.
