I'm not exactly sure why, but some sounds are really starting to annoy the **** out of me - the sound of the fridge opening with it's audible squish, the cupboard's wooden doors shutting abruptly, the sound of the microwave being slammed shut and the loud beeping noises as it's being programmed. Pots and pans banging together and basically any commotion going on in the kitchen - I can hear everything my roommates are doing in there and it breaks my concentration when I'm sitting in my bedroom reading - I can even hear them over the football game on the radio. Come to think of it, I hear every single footstep of everyone who is entering or exiting the complex - my bedroom is right under the stairs. I hear the people on the floor above me dropping things and running around from time to time.

I think it has something to do with an almost complete lack of privacy - the walls are so thin that I never get my filling of solitude. I'm never acquainted with silence, not even at 3 or 4 am. I'm really longing for this lease to end in May. I already have my eye on an apartment complex with single bedroom flats. $350 per month, water isn't on the utility. I think I'll aim for the top floor.

White noise. I blast a fan all night and day. You can probably find a sound loop or something to play. I'm a light sleeper and it's the only thing that keeps me sane and rested

Got pissed off at the behaviour of a girl that I've been studying with lately and responded in kind with apathy, as expected she got pissed at that and then we cleared the air and now it just feels a bit strange. It's probably a good thing, but it still annoys me.

Oh well, tomorrow is another day. And today is another bomb. I've got too much on my plate to deal with this shit right now.
