Not working, need a new plan...any suggestions?

So there's this girl I like her alot,......................

Anyways I hang out with her alot and I always hint on to her that I like her or I atleast am nice to her (I open my car door for her, I "excuse my french" when I curse around her, and a lot of other stuff), but I sometimes put on the rebel, douchebag attitude that girls seem to fall for so she gets the best of both worlds. BUT IT DOESN'T SEEM TO WORK! My friend who also likes her said that the last time he hung out with her it was very touchy feely, that's all I know. And he knows I like her a lot and he said he'll stop for me.

Point of my story, How do I get to that touchy feely point?

Also an unrelated question: I'm going to a party and a girl that I've been through EVERYTHING with will be there, last time she hugged me and said you still miss me don't you and I just stuttered.

I know what I'm going to say this year but a certain event is happening at the party (can't say, but lets pretend its drinking in this situation) How do I invite her without making it seem like I'm hitting on her. I was thinking "I'ma gonna be drinking later on tonight if you want to..." and just leave it at that and see how she responds

Here is a suggestion for a new plan: Don't try to be anything you aren't. Just be yourself and be honest and communicate with her. By "putting on" different attitudes around her, you are probably confusing her even more. Don't hint at things, just let her know you are interested. If she isn't, then you know. If she is, you will have saved yourself a lot of time and stress.

I don't know how to explain it but I'm being myself the whole time I just blend it in.
I think I'm in the nice, smart, funny guy but was destined to one of those weird guys that the women aren't into. They like me but only as a friend. And now a days after holding doors, paying for her, being nice and gentlemanly all that jazz I think it clearly stands out that I like her. Right?

Actually, I have found in my personal experience that women can be just as dense as men when it comes to knowing if someone likes them. No matter how many hints are presented to them. The only way to know for sure that she knows is to talk to her.

Ooohh, she knows you like her for sure. You have to be a man and make a move her on. Don't be afraid of "hitting on her" because thats what you want, right? Just flirt with her. If there is dancing at the party, ask her to dance. That should move things more physical. Or, if there is no dancing, then after talking to her for awhile, ask her if she wants to sit on your lap. ; )
