How long should I keep trying for her?

Ever since New Years, a girl, that we both had strong feelings for each other, started talking again.

She was busy both times that I asked her to do something. But to me she seemed like she was actually busy and that she had some feelings towards me still.

Is it how I'm asking? What do I do? And How many times do I keep trying to do something with her until it seems pointless cause she'll always be 'busy'?

I usually text her since its fast and easy, but I don't make it quick so that it doesn't seem like I'm a guy that hides behind texts or anything.

Its just a hey, a few catch up texts, and then I ask her.

The first time she said she would and I ended up calling her since I was driving by her house she had to go to a store and said she would call me back afterwards but the next morning she said she passed out, which I had reason to believe.
The second time she said she had work, I kept the convo going a little and ended up saying if your free Thursday or Friday and want to do something I'm probably just chilling. But I don't think I'll get any response
