Somebody please tell me why my Kinda X GF (we never officially dated) makes more of an effort to see me then my actual girlfriend does?

My gf and I live 5 min drive apart. I asked her to lunch, but her car is iced over because of the winter storm. (whatever it happens, not gonna get upset about that)

HOWEVER, my kinda x Is outside right now breaking ice off her car to go get coffee with me..... WTF is wrong with this picture? I am seriously starting to have serious doubts in my relationship because of this. No I do not cheat on my girlfriend with my X. My X actually is pretty much like my relationship counsellor. We dont see each other very often at all; she is engaged. (not trying to be a home wrecker either, I am happy for her)

But why do I feel like she puts more effort into seeing me then my actual girlfriend does?

If you live 5 mins from your gf, then why don't you walk there or she walks to you?
