    Guys...what do you think?

I understand that different guys have different preferences, and there are some girls that are attractive to most guys regardless.

But I want to know, what universal constants about a girl's appearance attract men to be interested in them? e.g. a smile, long hair, long lashes, curves/no curves, short/tall? What kind of fashion sense? quirky, feminine, tomboyish?

How much does ethnicity matter? Do they have to be americans, latinas, europeans, african-americans, asians, east indian?

Could you maybe even post pictures of women who are well put together, like hair, clothes, make-up? Not necessarily Megan Fox, but random girls or celebrities who catch your eye.

Please be brutally honest about what attracts you...please. I just want to know what I'm doing wrong.

    Thanks!

I'm a fan of the exaggerated hourglass figure. I don't mind at all if a woman is packing a few extra pounds... love curves. My wife isn't a small woman, she's nearly as tall as me, and I'm 5'10", and she's got (her words) "Irish Childbearing Hips".

    I love long hair.

I detest scrawny women... I don't mean women that are naturally slender, I mean the ones that starve and/or exercise themselves into gauntness attempting to fit themselves into some Hollyweird-induced artificial standard of beauty. I can't stand to see ribs between a woman's breasts, that's just not right.

A lot of it for me is attitudinal - Self confidence and poise goes a hell of a long way.

Trust is key for me too. if a man says "you're beautiful" and you say "Oh no", you've just called him a liar to his face. You've just admitted that you don't trust him and you don't value his judgment. I love that my wife NEVER does that. She knows that in my eyes at least, she's the most beautiful woman ever, living or dead.

A lot of it also negotiable. I tend to like women with some pigmentation in their skin and hair, yet my wife is a pale complected woman with platinum-white/silver hair. It was brunette before I met her (I'm told) but it went white when she was in her early 20's.

As you said, people have different preferences. Me personally. I am overall more attracted to a cute chick then a 'hot' chick.

I think the package for me..personally..is

Small, with long hair, I do like black/brunette hair with a streak of maybe pink, blue or purple through it. little bows in the hair are pretty cute. Girls who can wear a pair of jeans and a band shirt and pull it off are winners..haha.

Eyes and hair are a pretty big factor for me. A girl who's eyes just catch you will always win me over. That is not a personal thing one can change..if they want to obviously.

This may sound a little generic, but if you like how you look, you feel you have an interesting look, you will reflect that in your confidence. Just make sure you like how you look, you have to be yourself, after all. How you choose to dress should reflect your personality, not what people will find 'attractive'.

Clothes don't make much difference for me. The less they are in the way of beauty the better. Almost anything will do as long as it's not flashy or expensive looking. You know, the kind of clothes that suggest that her favourite hobby is shopping.

As for the make up, it works best if I don't realize she is wearing it.

I'm totally indifferent to hair or eye colour. Hair length doesn't matter much either. A military cut would be weird though. Any complexion from milky white to ebony is fine too.

Height isn't very important. It's all good as long as she isn't a midget or a giant.

Now, that's alot of things I find uninteresting. That leaves us with the things that do affect how attractive a girl seems to me. A cute face is a very important factor. It's not easy to define what features would make a face pretty though.

I'm also fan of the hourglass figure. Bigger boobs are nice but one shouldn't think that bigger is always better. Shape is more important and they can be too big. More important than boob size is a high thigh / waist ratio. There's nothing hotter than thick thighs and a round butt.

The most important, and something a girl has a control over, factor is her demeanor. Smiling, laughing and flirty girls are far more attractive than those who don't smile and just ignore me.

It's the eyes. The eyes are what they look at first. So if you want to attract, doll up those eyes to make them look sexy. There are lots of self help makeup tips on youtube that can help you.

Some of us do focus on the eyes

Unless she's facing the other way or something, then it's figure legs boobs bum dress sense and hairstyle.

And maybe shoes. I like nice shoes.

Yup. Now that I think about it, I notice shoes quite often. You can tell a lot about a person from their shoes.

Why all of these questions? I mean how old are you?

Race doesn't matter unless they are racist...
Weight sometimes matters and it usually matters...when the guy is athletic.
Since you are so focused on appearance (a superficial quality) then you might be in for a rude awakening as to what most men find attractive.

Smile: She must have a nice smile, inviting eyes and a feminine voice. No smokers in my world.
Long hair: a must. If you have short hair: a thin face proportionate to the hair is a must.
Straight hair is good, curly is even better.
Make up: I'm not a fan of clowns so enhancing the eyes, eye lashes is enough for me.
Body type: I like a petite waste, big booty, about a 36 size chest, but my double zero ex had a 34b and I never complained. I like a long neck, sexy shoulders and back.
I like long legs, think ankles and small feet that look well maintained and soft.
I also don't mind curves at all: I don't discriminate but I'm outgoing so lazy people and I don't mix too well, no matter the shape.

Most men like feminine, others like quirky and others like tomboys...It depends, you won't find either one more compelling than the other.
Do you not know who you are?

I don't like a woman to dress like a Craigslist hooker.
I don't like push up bras (false advertising) nor heavy heavy make up.
I like natural women who know who they are but don't have to compensate by dressing like a prostitute.

In the end: what really matters is the person -their character, and who they are transcends what they look like.
Only shallow people are concerned with looks to such a degree they will overlook the real beautiful people who have so much more to offer...than just exterior based beauty.

Oh geez... I wear Converse All-Stars pretty much constantly. So does my wife. I wonder what that says about us?
