Confused

I'd like to start by saying hi to everyone. New to this forum, but not to foruming.

Anyways, I'm from the Philippines where courtship is a 'must' before proceeding into a relationship. I'm a male, obviously.

So I've liked this girl, well more than like for about 2 years now. We're good friends, she knows how I feel about her. I did make her a promise 2 years ago that I'd wait until she was ready for a relationship. Last year, I broke that promise . A few months later, I apologized to her, told her what happened. She was hurt, her trust in me was broken, but things were back to normal. I don't think she trusts me now as she did 2 years ago, but at least she trusts me. I think, I hope? We don't see each other often. But when we do, we usually have a really really deep conversation about us. By her eye contact, i can tell that she's really interested in me, at least.

Problem is, am I just waiting for nothing? False hope? Or will it pay off? I've felt the same way 2 years ago. I wanted the future to come by quick so I can see what happens between us. What should I do?

Help would be greatly appreciated.
