Don't cry, don't regret and don't blame
Weak find the whip, willing find freedom
Towards the sun, carry your name
In warm hands you are given
Ask the wind for the way
Uncertainty's gone, your path will unravel
Accept all as it is and do not blame
God or the Devil

Reading. I spent a good four hours today engrossed in a Japanese novel.
Also hanging out with my lovely girlfriend.
And striking up a conversation with a friendly japanese surfer while we were both checking the same spot. And surfing that spot.
Is it burnin'? Well, f-ck, now you're learnin'.
Few hours left before I write my first exam on the university. I'm feeling confident, I'm well prepared, I'm going there to pass it and maybe even score good. I'm the best. I can do it. Other can suck on my toe. I'm the best <- That's what I'm thinking and saying to myself all the time It's kind of motivation thing, helps me breathing ^^

I can't stop laughing at this shit.
So I was gonna post about this earlier, but I was waiting to take a good pic. My morelia python came today since the weather was warm this week. I was anxious all day! I won't be able to handle her for another week or so, because she's getting acclimated to the new enclosure and she's stressed from being in a box and bounced around all day. When I opened the box, she struck at me but missed. She even struck at the glass for a while (I had to put a towel up around the viv so she doesn't injure herself), but she calmed down and stopped all that. Right now, she's slithering around and I finally got a decent pic. She's so inquisitive!
I bet this will look familiar to Mish, maybe Lipp or Charlieboy as well.

Exactly what in the hell do you know about these "snake standards" you're going on about? I think you'd better stop while you're ahead with the little knowledge of herpetology you have.
Sorry, but I've kept reptiles, among other animals, for almost my entire life. I take damn good care of them - you're making assumptions here; you haven't even seen the enclosures I keep my herps in or how I handle them. Snakes do not really care or understand their surroundings beyond their instinctual needs, and if you want to argue with me, then explain why a snake might choose to live in a sewer or under a house, or a thousand other places you'd also thnk of as 'poor' or 'horrible'. The care I have for my snakes is greater than any living circumstance they would find in the wild, especially considering how most neonates die off before reaching juvenile age and do not eat as frequently, and must survive harsh environmental conditions and avoid predators/aggressive members of their own species. Furthermore, she was not even wild caught - she, and my other snakes, come from a lineage of captive-bred species that have become domesticate. Freeing her or any captive-bred snake into the wild would most certainly mean death.
