How to go from dating to in a relationship?

I've been "dating" this girl for about a month now. We like each other its pretty obvious (talk pretty much every day and have been intimate. (kissed, etc...) I'm just wondering how to make the jump from dating to being facebook official and being in a relationship?

Do i flat out and ask her if she wants to be my GF or is their a subtle way of going about it?

Any ideas would be nice. This part of dating confuses me...

As far as I know, people don't "ask" to be "gf/bf", they just assume they are after a while of dating... I'd say a month is enough to consider her your gf.

This is actually terrible advice and is only good in a perfect world; don't assume anything. While I agree, using facebook as a barometer of your relationship is silly, I think you should have a definite conversation so there is no confusion. Just keep it simple, "We've been seeing each other for a little while now, and I really like you and want you to be my girlfriend."
