I need your help

Ok so this is the hardest thing I've probably had to write - I'll just go from the start.

About a year and a half ago I broke up with my ex girlfriend, this was a very loving yet unhealthy relationship. Afterwards I went into a deep depression, I went to a place I never thought I could.

Skip forward to today - I went to the doctors and asked to be tested for STD's and she said I had already been confirmed positive for herpes, but here's the thing, I don't remember it. I think that I may have been so depressed at the time that I actually shut myself down from taking on any information that could have pushed me over the edge (especially as this was around the time I found out my friends had been sleeping with my ex). I've never shown any physical signs of the virus down there.

But here's the thing that is killing me - I have a new girlfriend who I LOVE, she is the first truly good thing to happen to me since my trianwreck of a relationship, and I've been having unprotected sex with her.

How the hell do I tell her? this is eating me up, it's 5:30 in the morning and I can't bear the idea that i've hurt her. I know there is no magic answer, but ladies - I need some guidance.

OMFG! Well it's not all your fault. She should have insisted on having protected sex with a new lover so it's her fault too. You have a responsability to report the horrible news to her. She dumps you she dumps you, either way the damage has already been done.....she more than likely has the virus now...way to be.
