Another "What the Hell Body" Question

Exercise and "health" knowledge have always been confusing and frustrating for me, but this problem REALLY messes with my head. (I'm a 25 year old, 5' female.)

I've been working out for about three months now. I go to the gym about 12 times a month (so spaced out to about 3 times a week.) I do about 15-20 minutes of Stair master (I hate cardio) and 30-40 minutes of low weight, high reps. Once a month I get an evaluation.

Before I started working out, my body was:
    -29.8% body fat
    -121 pounds
    -Bust 35 1/2, Waist 32 1/4, Hips 36 3/4

    Month 1:
    -26.7% body fat
    -121 pounds
    -Bust 34 3/4, Waist 31, Hips 36 3/4

    Month 2:
    -26.6% body fat
    -121 pounds
    -Bust 35 3/4, Waist 32 1/2, Hips 37 1/4

So, I'm losing body fat, I stay the same weight, and yet I'm GAINING in inches. I'm bigger than when I started working out! If it was fat, wouldn't my body fat percentage be high again? What is going on??

Tacked On Question: What's my body shape? Never been able to figure it out.

Your "fat" is turning into muscule and your muscles are growing because you're working out.

You are gaining muscle. Remember, lifting weights, even light to moderate weight, builds muscle. Muscle is heavier than fat, though one quick question. You say that you are bigger than you were, before you started working out correct? Bigger in the waist, legs, where exactly?

Everywhere, really... If you look at my measurements, you'll see that I've gained at least half an inch on my bust, waist, and hips. Only my biceps seem to be slimming down.

Muscle is actually heavier and has a larger mass than fat.

Why don't you post some pictures? A picture is worth a thousand measurements

Haha, yea I already said that muscle is heavier. I am not sure what to say about your bust, as far as your hips and waist, it could be a possibility that you did not have as much fat in those areas as you previously though. However do not quote me on this as I have not seen a before and current picture of you.
