What to do now?

Hi everybody.
I have know this guy for 3 years now. And we have always been on/off. But we have never been in a relationship, kissed
og slept together. We are best friends, and we both have romantic feeling for each other. But this guy has some personal problems, which does he is not able to have a girlfriend. And even though you might think is bullshit, its really true. He has tried it a lot of times, and it all ends in shit. So he has choosen to live alone forever. However he still has feelings for me, and I for him. and even though we decided to be friends, it still hurts me to se him with other girls. What do I do? I cant walk away from, and I wont. because he is also my best friend. But everytime one of us is together with other girls/boys, we both gets jaloux and angry. What to do?

To sum it up, you both have feelings for each other. So the only thing really getting in the way of a relationship seems to be his "personal problem", right? You could try to approach him on that, try to fix it with him, and through that process of solving that "problem", become even more close to each other and finally start a relationship. Of course this depends on what kind of problem that is.
