I am devastated...

I just found out on a dating site that he was on this site when we were together. I know he was lonely in that month, because he missed me and he was alone in a foreign country...but his profile said he was looking for a romance... Wow...
And in that month he was telling and emailing me how much he missed me, loved me blablabla...while he was hunting for a romance...

Yes it hurts, but I need more and more information until I am so fed up with him, so that I really really want to stay away from this... I don't know what to call him.

The fact he was on a dating site at all and looking for romance, would be enough for me to just walk away.

Regardless he was lonely and in a foreign country, he could have channeled his energy into communicating with 'you' via text and telephone...not seeking solace in other women online.
