Quick Question

So I was at a bar, cute girl working behind the counter, it wasn't a major bar just a local "Cheers" style dive. Anyway she's seen me there before, we were outside having a cigarrette and some drunk buddy of mine suggested we should go out in drunk fashion. We both laughed it off, she mentioned she "may" be seeing someone, later as I was paying my tab I did ask her out very casually and she told me she was actually seeing somene but will hopefully see me around the bar again. Is this a brush off or would she actually consider seeing me if she wasn't seeing someone else?
