This song got me through a lot of pain.

Its an oldie but it helped me so much; Storms by Fleetwood Mac, on the Tusk LP.

    Every night that goes between
    I feel a little less
As you slowly go away from me
    This is only another test
Every night you do not come
    Your softness fades away
Did I ever really care that much
Is there anything left to say
Every hour of fear I spend
    My body tries to cry
    Living through each empty night
    A deadly call inside
    I haven't felt this way I feel
    Since many a year ago
But in those years and the lifetimes past
I did not deal with the road
And I did not deal with you I know
Tho the love has always been
So I search to find an answer there
    So I can truly win
    So I try to say
    Goodbye my friend
I'd like to leave you with something more
But never have I been a blue calm sea
I have always been a storm
    We were frail
    They said
"Everynight she will break your heart"
I should have known from the first
    I'd be the broken hearted
But I loved you from the start
    Save us...
And not all the prayers in the world, could save us

    That's a good one.

Much as I despise John Mayer (both as a person and as a musician), his song 'I'm Gonna Find Another You' really helped me through an old breakup. And, of course, Kelly Clarkson, "Since You've Been Gone".

    Thanks for the songs...

One that helps me is "Unbreakable" by James Cottriall because it describes best how I feel...

It can easily be found on YouTube if you're interested (I'm not allowed to post links yet, 14 more posts to go for that!^^)

I´m fed up of you lying behind my back,
I´m fed up of the secrets
    I can´t keep track,
    oh,baby,
I´m just fed up of you.

You used to be my everything,
    my every thought and word,
But then there were the secrets that everybody heard,
    And, lady,
I don´t know what to do.

    I thought we were unbreakable.
I thought that we were more.
    I thought we were unbreakable
    and worth fighting for.

I´m fed up of you moaning
    about the things I lack.
I´m fed up of your bitching baby,
Just get off my back and,oh, baby,
I´m just fed up of you.

So what are we gonna do about the problems that we have?
I suppose that we should separate the things
    `Cause then we´d have a chance
And, lady,I don´t know what to do.

    I thought we were unbreakable.
I thought that we were more.
    I thought we were unbreakable
    and worth fighting for.

Some getting you out of my life tonight.
    Getting you go tonight.

    I thought we were unbreakable.
I thought that we were more.
    I thought we were unbreakable
    and worth fighting for.

The song that reminds me of my ex, no matter how cheesy it may sound, is "Last Christmas". Because we met at a Christmas party and because "if [she] kissed me now I know [she] would fool me again". :-)

    If my heart could sing out loud at the moment it would sound like this;

Adele's 21 album is pushing me through this.
And Beyonce - Best Thing I Never Had to lift things back up again, remind you that you're better off.
