How long do you like sex to last?

Simple question, how long do you like sex session (including foreplay) to last? And, usually, why do you want them to end? If you ever get that far, I mean. Do you just get bored and lose interest/arousal? So you get sore and/or physically tired?

There's a poll included for rough answers, or feel free to write more as well.

I was used to having sex for a bare minimum of an hour and often up to four or five hours, but I found that actually very few, if any, women appreciate this and at best find it very boring and awkward and at worst are insulted that I can last so long with them. It seems that the rest of the world considers half an hour to be a ****ing long time to be in bed and 10-15 minute sessions are plenty.

I now try my best to keep it short, simple and fast. They seem to enjoy it much more and are much more affectionate afterwards.

I'm never quite satisfied, though.

It seems that men's obsessions with "lasting longer", secondary only to penis size, is completely pointless and a few minutes of ****ing after ten minutes of foreplay will seem like a very long time for most women.

Please give your opinions. You're welcome to suggest the idea that "Lolz they just get bored of u cuz u r crap in bed!", since it is quite possible, but I'm not sure that really explains it.

A lot of people only want to have actual intercourse for 10 to 15 at a time because the friction uses up a lot of lubricant and it can turn from pleasurable to painful very quickly. Plus, it can be exhausting. If you've already had a long day it can be difficult to have sustained sex sessions. However, this can be assisted through the use of foreplay (ample amounts w/ the works) and can continue after intercourse is over with cuddling, or a nice shower together, etc.

Note: You want sex to last longer, then you should invest more time in foreplay. 10 minutes of foreplay will get you 10 minutes of sex. Besides, if a girl isn't properly aroused then she's not going to have an orgasm. We don't simply get horny at the sight of a guy's dick.

I include foreplay as part of "sex", as in my post. And when you're doing it for that long it's not just a case of foreplay-then-penetration-then-finish, but doing different stuff all the time and going back and forth between different "activities". If it were up to me I wouldn't actually **** her until like an hour or more had passed, but they hate that and just want me to pound them and get it over with.

And this isn't much to do with her "having an orgasm", really - if anything that's best avoided until later or she loses interest even faster. You know how men are supposed to give up, roll over and go to sleep once they've cum? Women are often the same.

It really depends for us, what's going on in our lives... we used to be masters of the quickie due to the *ahem* illicit nature of our relationship many years ago, but these days half an hour is an unusually short time. Usually an hour at least is required, but we're getting old, LOL.

Typically 1.5 - 2 hours, and I want it to end when I am too sleepy to continue. And 5-15 minutes is not adequate for me to be happy, unless you are talking about the foreplay portion.

So, if foreplay and all that is included in this... About 1 - 1.5 hours is good. And I like snuggle time afterward. Or a light rubdown as I go to sleep. That's nice.
