Being in love - what is it to you?

What does being in love mean to you? For me it is experiencing every emotion under the sun, feeling like you're going to burst if you don't see/talk to him for a while. The most intoxicating, heart-wrenching state of mind! What about you?

Most horrible feeling in the world
Can someone please explain what is so great about constantly being reminded of that which you cannot have?

Yep, what AsianBeauties said. It's like you want to share your life with the person 24/7 because just being around them makes you happy. It's like feeling giddy almost.

Of course that's the emotional side. Things tend to not work out if you two don't have enough in common.
