I found tremendous power in apologizing sincerely. I used to be very rash in expressions, saying horrible things without thinking. But somehow when I later said I was sorry, people felt I meant it. I guess people (or men?) don't apologize enough.
Yes, but nothing that is worth it is easy.It takes practice. It's just taking the time to think before you speak.
It's great that you can apologize, and it's not just men, people in general can be bad at apologies. The problem with apologies is they only work so often. If someone apologises to me over and over for the same thing without showing any sign of working on altering the behaviour they need to apologise for, the apology loses all meaning.
