Hello ppl, been wathing this forum since few days, but it's my first post.

So 2 weeks ago my girl dumped me. We were 3 years together. The reason was that I was not with her on her friend's wedding and she realized then that she doesn't feel anything to me. I want her back with me. I've been asking her to come back to me, and I'll change, but it doesnt work, she says that maybe in a half or a year, but more probably never. Altough she wishes to be friends after we take a few month break from each other. Also, I see that she does not want me to fight for her.

What do you think? Is there really hope for me to be together with her? Will she change her mind, or will she totally forget about us? Boys and girls, did you had similiar case? What she can be thinking? Does it happen often that in such situation girl do change their minds? And what should I do? Should I tell her that no, we can't be friends anymore? I think that might kill our chance if I would be just her friend.

Thanks for help, I'm confused and I don't know what to do.

Why weren't you at her friends' wedding? Had you been invited?

yeah, I was invited but I didn't go beacause it was like 500 miles away and I said just no cuz of laziness. And than she said she just realized it's over we don't match each other, and we differ too much, but really I don't think it's true that we are so different. Also I'm sure that there was not beacause of some guy she might met at the wedding
