paying prostitutes for sex supports a multi-billion dollar industry based on the oppression and slavery of women. anyone who disagrees about this and claims most prostitutes are into it and love what they do is a moron.

both of these articles are specifically about sex workers in the netherlands. the point is that, due to international human trafficking and the impersonal nature of the relationship btw john and prostitute, it's impossible for a john to know how the woman he's paying to sleep with ended up where she is.
