My girl friend is threatening to dump me because I dumped her a long time ago for someone else, took her back, and she is struggling with the images of me and this girl together. What should I do?

You might need to give her some space. But definitely reassure her that she is the one you want to be with. Remind her of all the things you like about her over the other girl. Make the other girl sound like complete trash if you have to, but right now she's scared that you'll eventually dump her again for the same reason. But if your words don't work, you have to let her take some time to reassess everything on her own. Personally, I think it's dumb that you broke up with her for someone else, just to get back together with her again. You should probably make sure that she is the one you want to be with as well, or else you'll probably just do it again.
