Right before the dish ran away with the spoon. I'm guessing they had weird looking babies.
On a farm. The dish and the spoon tried to run away but they still had food on them and the little dog chased them down and ate their legs. The little dog thought it was hilarious.

Ate their legs? That's pretty devastating. I've never felt so sorry for cutlery and dishware.
