Wierd Situation.

I had this very cute girl in my class. But we never used to talk much as of.
We both were in same class for a whole year. Now as our streams are different we both are in different class.
So out of the blue one day I asked her out on Facebook.
Her reply actually confused me even more.
First she says that she isn't going to get into these matters until and unless she goes to final year. Then even she consoles me and says sorry
Then the next day she herself initiates a conversation(on facebook) and asks me how am I??
I rubbed it all off with humour tough.
My question is:
Why is she so concerned about my feeling if she is not interested in me?
PS-She now mostly doesnt make any eye contact wwith me when we happen to see each other

Yep, she likes you enough to not want to break your heart, but is not interested in dating you.

What did you expect her to do anyway? kick you in the nuts? Just because she turned you down doesn't mean she's a bit** or something. Maybe she though that her answer was too strong and decided to apologize for it. She wasn't apologizing for turning you down.

This kind of relationships need to take things gradually firstly u have to get used to each other then thing will hit on its own.
