How do I change JPEG image into PDF

For some reason, my scanned images are saved into JPEG image. How do I convert JPEG into PDF? Is it normal that my all in one printer won't let me scan stuff directly into PDF? I use EPSON STYLUS NX215.

It is probably because your scanner is set to scan to JPEG by default. Do you just put the image on the scanner and press 'Scan' on the physical scanner? You might have to scan through the program on your computer to change your output option. Of course, I could be completely wrong too.

    Nevermind.....

    Here ya go:

You can scan a single page to PDF using Full Auto Mode. Make sure you click Customize, click File Save Settings, and select PDF as the file type.

    1. Place the first page of your original document on the scanner glass.
    2. Start the Epson Scan program.
    3. Select Home Mode, Office Mode, or Professional Mode as the Mode setting.
    4. Select your Document Type or Image Type and Destination settings, then preview your image.
    5. Click Scan.
    6. In the scan file settings window, select a folder for your file and select PDF as the file Type setting.
    7. Click OK.
    8. If you’re scanning only one page, click Save File.

If you’re scanning a multi-page document, click Add Page. Then replace the first page on the scanner glass with the second page and click Scan again, repeating as necessary for each page. When you’re finished, click Save File.
If you want to delete or reorder any of the pages, click Edit Page, then use the icons on the bottom of the editing window. (Click Help for details.) When you’re finished, click Save File.

    9. Click Close to exit Epson Scan.

Ok. I can scan it into PDF. Thanks! But it won't let me add page. After it scans one page, it just automatically exits.

Just open the jpg in a program like photoshop and save as a pdf.

Yes. I can scan it into PDF but I can't scan the pages into one file regardless of format. I can merge them on the internet but it would be a bit of a hassle. The option for add page is disabled for some reason.

You seem to need software. Acrobat Pro will let you merge any number of PDFs into one document.

Thanks. I found a website that lets me merge the PDF files directly without downloading.

Get a free PDF printer - e.g look for CutePDF on google, basically it installs as a printer, so you can turn practically anything into PDFs very easily, rather than mixing and matching with importing files into programs.
