Hi need some sane advice pretty please,


So its my birthday today and my bf of 3 yrs who lives a plane ride away has not sent me a card let alone a present. I seen him at the wknd and was was thinking he would have give me a card then and i made it clear i would be upset if he didnt send one for today. As expected he has not even asked for my address. The same thing happened on valentines, i didnt get a card or anything and I had spent a day handmaking a card.

For his birthday I planned so much and took him away even though im a student and he has a good job.

He was not like this the 1st yr, he knows how much not bothering hurts me, I am starting to think hes not into it, is it time to call it day or am I being harsh?

For one, what's the quick history of you two? Almost always, long distance relationships don't work. (Unless you and he had previously lived physically close to one another for a long time and he had to move temporarily for his job and plans come back.) He doesn't even have your postal address?!?

Forgetting birthdays, Valentines, anniversaries or whatever...he's not into you. Dump him and get someone local.
