so about 2 weeks ago my girlfriend of 2 1/2 years said she needed to move out of our apartment cause she needed to fix things in her life, witch i understand...i love her a lot and always have but she said i didnt show it enough (that i didnt kiss her enough show her enough affection etc.) i have since realized that i wasnt being a good boyfriend and i want to show her i can change but she says she needs her space...im trying my hardest to give it to her but all i think about is how bad of a boyfriend i was (things were great before we moved in together about 8 months ago) she tells me that she doesnt know what is going to end up happening with us and just needs her space , i know its obvious thats what i need to do but its easier said then done. part of me thinks she fell out of love with me and she is just trying not to hurt me idk any advice?? from what ive said does anyone know what could possibly be going on with her??

Well maybe you smother her with too much affection, and never gave her a chance to have a life outside the relationship, or you are too clingy and your whole world revolves around her and what she is doing, could be a privacy issue, or she has met someone else and hasn't decided on what to do, so she has distanced herself to figure out her next move.

I know living together does give you a total different perspective on what the other person is like, maybe she doesn't like what she sees. I don't think you made any mistakes, it could be a conflict of personality, and well that is just who you are, and changing would be stupid. If you are not compatable, then you don't have a hope in hell for the long haul, so let it be. Just sit tight for a week or two, then ask her for the truth, then accept the outcome.

Well she said the whole issue between me and her was that I didn't show her enough affection and whatnot and I realized that once she left me and all I wanna do now is show her how much I love her it was mainly because we were living together and I guess I just got too comfortable :/ Idk what to do anymore lol im a mess i haven't been this crazy about a break up before in my life
