what to do, say you like, or ask to a date?

im wondering what do most girls think a guy should do, like if he likes a certain somebody, should he tell the girl something like "hey ___ i actually really like you" or would it be better if the guy just asked you out on a date, lik "hey ___ would you wanna maybe go on a date to the movies sometime?"

also like how do guys usually start off the conversation, because theres a girl i always talk to at school everyday, and i feel itd be random if we were just having a conversation and i said hey i actually really like you. we talked about goin to the movies and hanging out and stuff, but i never actually mentioned that i wanted it to be like a date. im always scared of what will happen, if im just talkin to her, and randomly ask her out, and then if she rejects me, i feel lik itd be really akward seeing her everyday at school, and finishing the rest of the period that were just sitting next to each other doing nothing.also its hard for me to ask her on a date cuz there are usually ppl around, but we go for walks and stuff alone alot, when we go to her locker.

any advice girls, what do you think a guy should do in this case?

i think that maybe you should try asking one of ur guy's frends if she likes you, maybe that will make u feel better just getting an idea if she really does or not.

how would a guy friend know if she likes me? do you mean i should tell a guy friend to ask her?

would it be wierd if i just asked if she wanted to be boyfriend and girlfriend, because we already hang out all the time, and went to the movies together and stuff. So can i just say something like " hey __ i think your really fun to talk to, and i really like being with you, and i was wondering if you would wanna start dating?" like is that a normal thing to say?? please give advice, i wonder what a girl would think about that, is it awkard or creepy?
