Example: you gained feelings for a friend, did do allot of relationship stuff with them, even regularly kissing and making out, then viewed the as more of a best friend and eventually realized you wanted to be with them? Haha sorry that is just my situation right now.

Yes. I tried it once. It was good for a while, but didn't work out in the long run. Now we're not friends any more either. I don't recommend it unless you're really sure this one is the right one for you.

Yes I've known my best friend for 3 years and we've been dating for almost 4 months. Apart from a few problems (which aren't related to the fact that we were/are best friends but could arise in any couple) it's going ok for now. I'm a 22yo female btw.
