Do women really need men?

My man keeps me on balance, by loving me back, by arguing with me, and there's such security knowing he's there that I never had when I was single

I try to see both sides of the situation, yes there can be something incredibly loving and intimate about the act of creating a child with the man you love, charting your cycle and knowing your fertile dates, and knowing when you make love that special night you are creating a beautiful baby together. But the same can probably be said about the single female method? I'm sure it would feel perfect to have a doctor ram a massive syringe into your back, sucking out part of your bone marrow, and them taking it to the lab to turn into a sperm, so they can surgically impregnate you with it on a cold hospital table. Sounds lovely!

Forget having a doctor or lawyer in the family. Tradespeople are much more useful and far less stuck up. Our electrician always shares a meal + beer w/us after a job. I think he enjoys the fact we always have some interesting 'project' going on at our house. I think of it like how people used to give gifts to a good local doctor--we really want to keep our handymen happy. You never know when a pipe will burst on a long weekend. Plus they are just nice guys.
