See, this guy is always telling me how he is a very clear communicator and likes to talk everything out. I once got mad at him and tried to just walk out... He told me that avoidance is not the way to solve things and that won't work with him. He wants to "understand". WTF? If he's such a clear commincator why would he be walking out on me?? Now I want to understand.

I think he is only giving you some space which obviously works. He saw that you are not sure about your feelings so he is just being smart. That is adult behaviour. Men don’t play games like women do.
