Dated the most beautiful perfect girl for 2 years - or so i thought.

She got GIGS and left me literally out of nowhere.

8 months since the break up - about 3 months or so NC rest was low contact (pretty much nothing)

Around the 6 month mark things really picked up and i started to move on. Now at the 8 month mark I can finally say that I would not take her back. I still think about her and am not fully healed, but its barely a problem anymore.

I was a complete * * * * ing wreck for 6 months so it does get better!
And it comes out of no where too!

The last months of moving on are the fastest. I could not care less if she ever tries to contact me again

And my point is: For everyone feeling like crap.. it took me months and months of hell but now im getting much better fast! and I feel like myself again. It only took 6 - 8 months lol.. Your perspective will change if you go NC and stay away!

Me and X broke up in April. It does def get better. Am I still in love with him? Yep, but, now I realized he is not the man I thought he was/I made him out to be. So sit there look at all the bad is it worth it?

Its almost never 'out of nowhere'. It just means you were clueless.

For them, there usually is. She may have been perfect for you, but clearly the converse wasn't true. Anyway, glad you're over her.

Well this is why its so important to get the heart broken early on, it makes you very strong emotionally to go through these experiences I think, and eventually your heart strong, nobody and nothing can break it.
