I think I attracted the wrong guy, and pushed away the right one

Ok, I work with these two guys. One of them is amazing and I have had a huge crush on him, and I suspect he likes me too. The other one is kind of a dog.

Guess which one I am more comfortable talking to?

The dog was "buddies" with the other one and I believed that he was relaying info to the guy I really liked. At first he probably was. But I think the dog has developed feelings for me and the whole thing turned into a "may the best guy win" sort of situation.

I don't see the two of them talking very much any more and I am afraid I might be in the center of it all.

I really like the good guy, but I am afraid he thinks I like the dog.

    How can I fix this?

How about you stop waiting around for the good guy to make his move and you quit making him think you like the dog. Pursue the good guy and let him be aware of how you feel.

Communication is the answer. Tell the good guy you like him to date, tell the "dog" you just want to be friends.
