Long story short...met a guy 5 years ago fell in love, he returned these feelings for a while, then all of a sudden he said he didnt want a relationship, didnt want to be tied down. There were no signs. But all through these years he has popped up out of the blue showing up at my house, calling unexpected, and everytime this happens, i let him come stay with me like he never left. He might stay a day he might stay 2 weeks, then leave and i might not hear from in for a day or two weeks. He told me one time that he left like he does BECAUSE he loves me. Many people that are important to him have told me he told them if he ever decided to married, that I would be the one he married. When we are together its like an old married couple. We didnt speak for a year, and the night we got together, it was like we were never apart. Here's an example, I hadnt heard from him in over a week, and he calls the other night saying he was coming over. called back and said, hope you have supper ready, and of course i did. He stayed the night, no sex, just snuggling and sleeping. He stayed the whole day and then left. I get how men come and go for sex or money, but many MANY times we have been together with no sex and i sure dont have any money to give him. So i ask you, is this a case of him "using" me for a reason unknown to me, or is he just not getting too close but close enough that he thinks i will be here when he gets ready to settle down???

I think he's using you because he doesn't have a place to sleep. Is he homeless or something? Does he live in town? Why can't he sleep at his place?

Or maybe he's just lonely and wants a friend.

yea he has a place in the town he works in, its about 35-40 minutes away from where i live. i get lonely for my friends too, but i dont go sleep with them. lol we are definately more than friends. i just want to know if im waiting for nothing or if i really am going to be the one he settles down with
