Of course my sister choses who she dates and sleeps with. But in our family it is common to tell each other when we are in a serious relationship. Everybody does.
It's her right not to do so, but it's not a habit. This has been going on for more than a year now and my parents don't know about it. She is 22 and he is 33.
She lies about going out and goes to his place instead, consistently.
When it comes to the surface, I predict my parents will be mad if they realize that she is keeping this kind of secrets for them.

With "my parents keep the secret" I mean the herpes and not the relationship. My sister keeps stuff for herself and I wonder if she has informed this guy about her oral herpes.
I can imagine she is embarrased because of it and therefore shuts her mouth.
I bring this up because I feel empathy for the guy in case his health is at risk.
But that's probably none of my business too and I am out of line again

He is a 33 year old guy not a 15 year old....I'm sure he is well aware.
