Thoughts on this text from my ex?

Got this text last night. We have been broken up for 8 months. Saw each other twice in that span. Last time we had contact was late October. Last night around 11 30 I received the following text....

"so they cancelled V (tv show) im sure your not surprised. Hi btw im sorry to text you been thinking about u. Hope your doing
well."


Keep in mind V was cancelled 6 months ago meaning theres no news about it and she knew that.

Like I read off another post by bcgirl.....she seeks you out in a time of loneliness and maybe boredom and possibly just out of curiosity. Ya she used a pretty lame excuse to start the convo. But these are only guesses.......depending on if you care or not, ask her yourself why she has a need to text. Maybe she wants a chat friend because you were always there for her in the past.
