You'll see; s/he will have you coming back for at least 8 weeks. You are much better off going to see a physio who is trained in spinal manipulation, IMO.
Damn skippy. I freaking hate chiroquackters. Bastages have a vested interest in keeping you coming back.

Bo, see if you can find an accupressurist. A friend of mine worked MIRACLES on me with it... and I was a skeptic. I seriously disbelieved there would be any benefit, but let him work on me to humor him. Incipient arthritis in my right hand - gone. A knee that's been bad (soft tissue damage) from a motorcycle accident at 17 - cured after two 2-hour sessions.

Nice! I will definitely look into it. I can't even stay in one spot right now with my back and neck hurting...

Depends on who you see, Indi. My chiropractor is amazing and is one of the reasons I recovered so well from the results of three rear-enders. He did do some training in healing muscular damage, a lot of my sessions were more dealing with the muscular damage (stretching out the muscles and pressure points). He also believes strongly in physio and strengthening the muscles that support the core and spine (he's always getting after me to spend more time int he gym to alleviate my back problems). I have had many chiros and he was the first one to do this with me, and it made a huge difference.

Sounds like you found a good one. But the fact you have seen many chiros makes my point, which is similar to the experience of those I know. Anyway, sounds like a similar training but coming from the other direction (physio who does spinal manipulation vs. chiro who does muscular therapy).
