Thanks Mish. You know what annoyed me last night? The smoke alarm in the hallway began chirping in the middle of the night, and needs the battery changed, but I can't climb up there to do it with this dumb foot!
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

I was kinda hoping things would have been fixed on here by now...

Some jerkoff backed his car into my house today and destroyed an entire wall. He didn't have insurance. When the police and contractor arrived, he pulled his checkbook out like he was going to buy girl scout cookies. I was so mad I wanted to rip the bumper off his car and beat him with it. His excuse was that he doesn't know how to drive a manual. What the hell?!

I had to spend the evening nailing plywood up to seal the gaping hole where he raped my house.

Well, that doesn't happen everyday. Was he drunk? Anyway, keep track of your time. You'll probably have to sue him for your time and the damages. You're lucky you were there and he didn't get a chance to run.
Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.

He didn't seem drunk. He sure was happy, though. Maybe because he was Indian. Definitely going to sue him, though. Ugh...

Finally got tired of my full-time job paying below minimum wage despite being 9-hour workdays 5 days a week, and the amount of dodgy shortcuts and cheating to get results rather than doing it properly. Gonna have a final chat to the boss and my workmates tomorrow but doubt that anything'll change, they'll just recruit more people and have a turnaround of staff every month or two once their bullshit layer is permeated.

Bleh, oh well, back to my good ol' uni job, so much better.

Martial law worries from this latest document signed by the prez. But the real reason is that we are moving to orange alert pretty soon.

I went for a run and at a stop sign I made a signal that I was crossing and a rich pompous asshole in his BMW almost hit me (It wasn't even his turn to go at the 4 way stop). I gave him the finger and he lipped "I'm sorry" but yet continued to drive. If you were REALLY sorry you would have stopped and let me pass you... argh.. idiot. I hate this city, only lived here since September but most people have this "I'm the only person who exists mentality"
